Who we are . . .
The Brighter Side Foundation is a unique non-profit organization dedicated to developing youth leadership skills and empowering teens in Southern California.  Our after-school program called “Local to Global” brings global awareness into action by introducing the students to event planning for charitable causes in Africa.  Program coursework is designed to expose the student to the skills necessary to conduct a large-scale fundraiser that is held each spring at the World Beat Center. 

The Class also includes guest speakers who are respected leaders in the areas of effective public speaking, project management, marketing, creative fundraising, and teen self-development.  Students are encouraged to explore new talents and push their own personal limits, while also working as a team to accomplish weekly tasks and goals.

Through this powerful after-school program, The Brighter Side Foundation is committed to having local youth inspired to make a lasting positive difference in their lives and in our global community.
